WHO IS THIS GUY?

Hi, my name is Tim. I’m a Technical Director and Pipeline Developer with a passion for software engineering and the art of animation. I have a background in computer science and always seek to advance creative technology to suit the needs of filmmakers. I recently graduated from Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg with my diploma in Technical Directing.

Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, Ludwigsburg (Germany)

Starting in Fall 2016, I was enrolled in the Technical Directing course at Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. During my studies, I contributed to multiple student productions, expanding my knowledge in computer graphics, production workflows and pipeline development. I graduated with my diploma in April 2019.

Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, Friedberg (Germany)

In spring 2016, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. During my time there, I fell in love with computer graphics and shifted my focus from app development towards the animation industry.

Pipeline TD / Developer (Freelance)

Mackevision, Stuttgart (Germany)

Recently, I did some pipeline development for the VFX division of Mackevision in Stuttgart, Germany. During the summer break of 2017 I developed a new set of Python tools for the new 3ds Max pipeline of the studio.

R&D Developer (Freelance)

Metricminds, Frankfurt (Germany)

At Metricminds, I designed and developed a data streaming plugin for Autodesk MotionBuilder as part of my bachelor thesis. The C++ plugin is easy-to-use, very flexible and comes with a server module written in Python.

2013

iOS / macOS Developer (Freelance)

Dupp GmbH, Haiger (Germany)

From mid-2013 until mid-2017, I was working as a student employee for Dupp GmbH. I was solely responsible for the development, maintenance and deployment of a flexible shopping app written in Objective-C (later re-written in Swift). At the time, the app was in deployment for over thirty online-shops.
